Our mission at Girls in Tech Boise is to provide you with the very best speakers, events, and meetings to help encourage you in your career in technology.As a group, we spend time together each month collaborating and learning about various aspects of working in the technology industry.
Many of us have found ourselves working in an industry full of men and are rarely given the opportunity to meet and work beside like-minded women in our field. Girls in Tech Boise is a support group for women technologists and a great place to meet other women working in the industry.
Our members range in professions including Project Managers, Recruiters, Designers, Engineers, Attorneys, Entrepreneurs, Media Arts, Web Developers, Scientists, and more. If you love or are passionate about technology, you are welcome at Girls in Tech Boise!Meeting/event topics change each month in order to provide you with great resources and networking opportunities.
Our events are free unless otherwise noted and open to any woman working in technology in the Treasure Valley. Please attend and learn more about what Girls in Tech Boise can do for you and your career in technology.
We meet every first Wednesday evening of the month at 12:00 noon. Starting in August, our meetings will be held at the Sun Ray Cafe in Hyde Park (1602 N. 13th St.)

Tina Funkhouser was the winner of our first ever Girls in Tech Boise contest and won her very own Girls in Tech babydoll T-shirt for coming up with a great event idea! Our December Fishbowl Roundtables event featured her event idea and it was a lot of fun! Congrats Tina for the great idea and keep those great ideas coming!
