    Posted on: 6/28/2012 9:55:48 AM | Comments (0)

Healthfundr is building a crowdfunding site and would love to find someone interested in this type of project to lead our development.

Early Stage Web Start-Up Seeking Lead Developer
Who We Are: Our founding team consists of a corporate attorney who recently left a large, international law firm and a medical doctor with one of the largest and most reputable practices in Idaho.

What We’re Doing: We’re changing the way health and medical entrepreneurs raise seed capital by creating a crowdfunding portal (see www.kickstarter.com as an example) for the health/medical niche. Our company is called Healthfundr (www.healthfundr.com).

Who We’re Looking For: You must be an experienced programmer, preferably with a great sense of graphic design. You need to be innovative. You need to have an obsessive attention to detail and user experience. You need to be committed to building an elegant, simple and beautifully designed site. Ideally, your technical skills would include:
    • Programming experience in JavaScript or jQuery, HTML/CSS and AJAX
    • Back-end programming experience with Ruby/Rails or PHP and MySQL
    • Design experience also a plus
    • Excellent communication skills

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about what we’re doing and who believes that entrepreneurship will be the main driving force for future health and medical innovation. Compensation: The following opportunities and compensation are available to the right candidate:
    • Competitive salary
    • Possibility of equity ownership (depending on performance and commitment)
    • Ground floor opportunity and voice in shaping the company. You will be the first employee and potential CTO candidate -- your input and work will be invaluable
    • Opportunity to build a team -- you will help hire, manage and lead other programmers

If you are interested in creating something exciting, innovative and original, you enjoy a challenge, and you love being a part of something where you’re truly appreciated and constantly contributing then we’d love to hear from you.

How to Apply: Email your resume to jobs@healthfundr.com along with any links to projects you have done and a brief cover letter explaining why you’re the person for the job. Be sure to let us know whether you can work full-time or part-time with our company (ideally you’re a hungry entrepreneur at heart looking for a full-time position). We look forward to hearing from you.
